Pricing

Free forever, not free for now

The free plan doesn't expire, doesn't count down, and doesn't ask for a card — and your email history is never trimmed on either plan. Running a household is hours of admin every week: reading it, decoding it, and copying the dates somewhere everyone can see them. Pro is for the households that want the mail read and sorted for them.

Pro is $49.99 a year for the whole household — that's $4.17 a month, billed yearly, with unlimited household members on every plan.

Prefer to pay monthly? Pro is $5.99 a month, billed monthly.

Free early access. No card, no spam, ever.

Two plans, one household

Everyone in the house is included on both plans. No per-person pricing, ever.

Whatever you type in or forward yourself is free and uncapped, and your email history is unlimited on both plans. Pro covers the parts that cost us to run: syncing with your other calendars and email, recipes and meal planning, an AI assistant for your household, and connecting other apps and AI assistants to your household.

What's free and what's Pro

Before you ask

The questions we'd want answered before handing anyone our family's email.

Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. No card, no trial clock, no date at which it turns into a paid account. The free plan covers the whole household, unlimited shared calendars, todos, chores and shopping lists, and email forwarding with your full history kept. If Pro never appeals to you, keep using the free plan and we won't chase you about it.
Do I have to pay for a year up front?
No. We quote the year first because it is the cheaper way to buy Pro — $49.99 up front works out to $4.17 a month and saves 30% — but monthly billing at $5.99 a month is always available, and you can cancel either one whenever you like. The $4.17 figure is what the yearly price averages out to, not a monthly plan you can buy.
What happens to my email history if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden. Your email history is unlimited on both plans, so downgrading doesn't shorten it — you lose the Pro features (syncing with your other calendars and email, recipes and meal planning, the AI assistant, connecting other apps), not your mail. The events, todos and reminders that came out of those emails stay where they are either way.
Is my household's email private?
Your mail is used to run your household and nothing else. No ads, on any tier — we'd rather charge you than sell your attention. We don't sell your data to anyone, and it is never used to train AI models. Pulling the dates out of an email does mean sending that one email to the AI company that reads it, and we only use companies whose terms rule out training on what we send. You can also skip connecting your inbox entirely and forward only the emails you want us to see.
Who counts as a household member?
Everyone in the house. Both adults and children, on both plans, with no limit and no per-person charge — adding the other parent, a teenager or a grandparent never changes the price. We charge for the household, because a household is what the app is for.
Will these prices change after early access?
Honestly: they might. household.email hasn't launched, billing isn't switched on, and the numbers on this page are what we intend to charge rather than what anyone is paying today. Pricing may still change before launch. What won't change is that there will be a free plan, and that early-access households hear about any change from us first — before it takes effect, not after.

Start on the free plan. Stay on it if you like.
